A group of eleven philanthropists led by Mr. Jasper Vile from the Netherlands arrived here in Nepal to help rebuild school buildings in Kathmandu. They will be staying in Nepal for 10 days. They will mainly be at the school and doing painting the school compound, classrooms, and constructing two class rooms. They have been doing this type of work through various organizations in different parts of the world once a year for more than 8 years. This year, they have chosen Nepal and Volunteer Society Nepal to donate their time and money for a really good cause. They will not do only manual work to renovate the school classroom. They have also brought small donations to purchase the construction materials and teaching materials at the school. Volunteer Society Nepal is extremely happy to have a collaboration with volunteers and philanthropists from the Netherlands. This will definitely build a strong foundation of education and improve the learning environment in Nepal, as school infrastructure plays a crucial role in creating a facilitative learning environment for students. It will definitely enhance the overall educational experience and help students’ access better opportunities. Along with doing voluntary work they will also want to promote tourism activities by doing Jungle Safari at Chitawan National park with Real Journey Nepal.
