Our sojourns begin in ancient Kathmandu as we view a heady mix of traditions & culture that baffle the senses as we go sightseeing down Kathmandu’s cobblestone streets that’s a literal feast for the eyes as we come across busy market souks that sell modern wares by following ancient practices that include opening & closing of shops through superstitious beliefs that go back hundreds of years in time. Our tour takes us into ancient monuments that symbolize an era of feuding kings where conspiracy & tragedy were the order of the day. Some of the monuments we visit are UNESCO declared World Heritage sites where the echoes of history still live on in its medieval corridors as we view the delicately designed architecture so intricately worked creating artworks that are a connoisseur’s delight. Katmandu is great confluence of the ancient that tries so hard to blend with the contemporary in this city of the gods & abundant temples where the cows roam as free as the wind blows.
Our tour extends itself to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara where we visit most of the prime tourist spots that include David’s fall & a Tibetan refugee center. We also go up to the fantastic viewpoint of Sarangkot where a delightful sunrise stuns your senses & gives you awesome views of some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world. Our tour in this junction for some of the most challenging expeditions in the world also includes some enjoyable boating on Pokhara’s famous Fewa Lake, a serene clean water lake that’s known throughout the world for its surrounding landscapes. Some of the world’s best extreme activities that include paragliding, a zip flyer, & Avia microlight flights all have their base in this lovely lake city.
Our thrilling tour concludes with some adrenaline gushing whitewater rafting on one of the sweetest rivers in Nepal & the world…the Trisuli River, where you can even raft all the way to the Chitwan National Park for a scintillating wildlife tour that will give you an exotic experience of a lifetime. We can do our rafting on the way to the Park or on our way back. Your put in point can even take you to point near the Park where a vehicle will be on standby to drive you for a short time right into the park itself. Your tour of a lifetime will conclude with a complimentary farewell Nepalese dinner at one of Kathmandu’s famous eateries where, while enjoying your meal, you will be entertained to a fascinating cultural dance performed by the local belles.
